Improve the decor and warmth of your kitchen with solid hardwood.  Solid hardwood can be custom sized in selection of colors.  From the deep brown of Walnut, a subtle orange glow of Cherry, or a bright white of solid Northern Hard Maple it is possible to improve any kitchen.

Do your interior rooms need a boost? Do they feel tired and maybe even a little boring? Consider trading up to custom hardwood trim. Thin, old, standard trim can easily be removed and replaced with custom solid hardwood trim. You can choose a hardwood and trim style that will enhance and compliment your existing decor creating a custom look that will give your room new life and value. The possibilities are endless!

That's a good question. Both make an excellent  food-safe conditioner and protectant. I find that 100% pure mineral oil is the easiest to apply (& the cheapest). You simply rub it on with a clean, soft cloth and let dry. Reapply until the wood no longer absorbs the oil. Then give it a good buff and it is ready for use. The oil brings out the color and wood grain in a natural way.

Hi folks, Mike here. I am continually amazed and impressed by the creativity of the woodcrafters who come to UTC Hardwoods. . Whether its the folks who attend our weekly carving classes, or those who come in for materials for their next project, or those who come by to discuss some woodworking plans. They all have projects and ideas that range from simple functionality to exotic artwork and everything in between!  I think one of the most beautiful characteristics of wood, is its versatility.
